Coming Soon Campaigns

What is a coming soon campaign and how does the process work for investors?

Updated over a week ago

Coming soon campaigns are an opportunity for you to browse upcoming investment opportunities before they open to the public. This allows companies and FrontFundr to gauge user interest in a potential campaign. The more users reserve a spot in the campaign during a coming soon period the more likely the company will be listed as a live investment offering in the near future!

As a result, offerings listed as coming soon are subject to change and are not guaranteed to go live on FrontFundr.

What is an investment reservation?
An investment reservation is an indication of your interest to invest a certain amount in the event that the company subsequently launches an offering of securities. If and when that happens, your reservation will grant you a non-binding allocation for the first 7 days that the offering is live. During this time, you must confirm your investment or, after the 7 days pass, all unconfirmed reservations will be cancelled and their allocations freed up.

How do I submit a reservation?

Submitting a reservation is simple. You will be asked a few questions, including how much you are looking to invest. We will confirm your reservation once completed.

What happens after I submit a reservation?

You don’t need to take any further action until the offering launches for the investment. You will receive an email notification when you can complete your investment.

When will I be charged?

If and when the Issuer makes the offering available for investment then you will receive a notification to confirm your investment commitment. At this time you will be asked to confirm or edit your investment amount before proceeding with the remainder of the investment process including document signing and payment. In the event that the Issuer does not proceed with an offering, your reservation will be cancelled. Accredited investors are permitted to submit full payments during the reservation process.

Why might a company not proceed with an offering?

There are a few reasons a company may not proceed to an offering:

  • Lack of interest in the potential listing during the coming soon phase;

  • Changes in a company's fundraising strategy or need to fundraise; or

  • A roadblock during FrontFundr's extensive due diligence process;

What if I want to edit my reservation amount?

You can increase or decrease your reservation at any time by contacting support@frontfundr.com.

Where can view details about my reservation?

You will be able to view your reservation in your investor dashboard.

The status of my investment says "Documents Generating," what does that mean?

Coming Soon campaigns are not live deals on FrontFundr, meaning the company's capital raise has not begun yet. The company's Offering Document and investment terms, including details regarding the company's valuation and the price per share, have not yet been finalized. You will be notified when your documents are available for signing, this may only take place several weeks after your initial reservation, depending on the campaign.

Can I cancel my reservation if I change my mind?

You can cancel or decrease your reservation at any time up to when the offering launches and you confirm your investment. Once you go through the investment process and complete your investment you will have 48 hours to cancel the investment.
